Have you viewed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks back when I took a brief vacation with my mother to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other folks at the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was fairly intriguing to say the least. Because the poker table was computer controlled, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that noticed this, except I did notice the gamblers at the table had a dull high quality to them. The reason behind this may possibly be because there was no human conversation with the croupier, the ambiance was rather dull and the players looked uninterested. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live variant of a web based texas hold’em poker room rather than being seated with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit creepy and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the reside tables for more than an hour, I made the decision to observe how the casino game action was and to encounter this new texas hold em poker gaming technologies. Soon after playing a couple of hands, I really felt like I was betting at home. The lack of activity in the table was the primary reason. I prefer to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are possible at these computer tables.
One more thing I discovered was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a lot of hands in the PokerPro table and noticed that the wager on was a great deal like a web-based hold em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be very odd.
Right after wagering a few rounds with this "new texas holdem poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m far better off playing hold’em poker on the net at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling den had been to acquire rid of the live poker tables, I think they would shed a lot of gamblers.
